The beach in the town centre of Le Lavandou is a large sandy beach lined with palm trees, also called "La Familiale" (The Family Beach). It is a fine sandy beach in the heart of the village, facing the islands of Levant and Port-Cros.

It is an ideal family beach for young children as it offers them the opportunity to have a foothold far from the shore. Racket and ball games can be played by everyone while remaining in the water.
