With its bell tower topped with a campanile, the church of La Farlède is easily spotted. Built in the center of the village in the 18th century, it was dedicated to Our Lady under the name of the Immaculate Conception. Built between 1751 and 1755.
In Romanesque style, it is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, as shown in the painting above the high altar, placed on December 8, 1755, the day of the church's blessing. There are two paintings by JL Panisse in 1785, one depicting Saint Peter imprisoned and freed by an angel, the other the judgment of Saint Christine, patron saint of Solliès-Pont.
The cross that now rests at the bottom of a niche next to the Virgin of Lourdes was acquired by our church from the Jesuits of Toulon, along with various objects, as well as the altar of Saint John. The statue of the Virgin holding the infant Jesus in her arms at the altar of the Virgin dates back to 1727.
