This store was established in the late 19th century. The chain of stores, which was present in a dozen cities, disappeared in 1985.
In addition to everyday essentials, this store had the distinction of offering its customers a furniture section with "complete installation of villas."
The Parisian architect who built it is Georges Debrie.
This building has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1999.
Currently, a fast food restaurant occupies the ground floor and offices are located on the first floor.
